Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Moon Township, PA to provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex needs.

This full-time role offers a wage of $19.25 per hour, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and shifts from 3pm–7am Fri/Sat and 11pm–7am Sat/Sun. Responsibilities include assisting with meals, personal hygiene, activities, and transportation, while maintaining a safe, healthy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for individuals with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges.
• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping and laundry in the house; transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress and assist clients with personal hygiene; medication administration.
• Participate in planning social, home and recreational activities.
