Job summary

Verland Foundation Inc in Monaca, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care to residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a wage of $19.25 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Full-time 40 hours weekly. Responsibilities include individualized care, progress notes, meals, transportation, and assisting with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges.
• Enrich and support residents’ lives in a safe and healthy environment.
• Record observations and daily progress notes; document in care plans.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and transportation in Verland vehicles.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
