Job summary

Wee Care Corporation in Glendale, AZ is seeking a compassionate Respite Provider to support individuals with special needs at home and in the community. You will follow each person’s service plan, protect dignity, and help maintain a safe, encouraging environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care when needed, supporting life-skill practice and positive routines, offering companionship, and accompanying members on community outings to promote independence.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained on hire.
• Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance is required or obtainable on hire.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Article 9 and Intro to Developmental Disabilities training or willingness to attend.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; safety-compliance.
• Flexible availability including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Special needs experience preferred.

Role Summary

As a Respite Provider, you deliver person-centered support for individuals with special needs so they can build independence at home and in the community while families receive reliable relief. You will follow the service plan, protect dignity, and maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care when needed; supporting life-skill practice and positive routines; offering companionship; and accompanying members on community outings.

Required qualifications/skills:
