Job summary

Right at Home Care & Assistance is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to join our caring team. We have immediate full-time and part-time openings to help clients stay safely in their homes and maintain independence.

As a DSP you will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, transportation to appointments, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and a current TB

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.
• Background check completed.
• Current TB test.
• HHA/Caregiver/CNA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication reminders
• Ambulation / Transfers
• Assist with preparing meals
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Light Housekeeping
• Ensure clients safety and well-being

Qualifications and Skills:

• One Year of experience as a caregiver
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs independently
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle
• Successful completion of a background check
• Current TB Test
• HHA/Caregiver/CNA certificate
