Royal Community Support is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist an individual living in Fairfield, NJ, in a community-based setting. You will work one-on-one in the client’s home and in the community, supporting daily living skills and independence.

The position is part-time with shifts on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, offering meaningful engagement and growth opportunities under supportive supervision. Prioritize dignity, safety, and customized care plans.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle (community-based support required).
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Authorized to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills such as bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
• Support housekeeping tasks including laundry, dishes, tidying, and light cleaning.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual living in Fairfield, Essex County, NJ.

This is a community-based position. The DSP will provide support in the individual’s place of employment.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in a one-on-one setting.

Seeking a staff person to be with individual on his job as a Janitor to keep on tasks. One job is in Essex (on Tuesdays & Thursdays) and the other in Bergen (on Saturdays). Seeking a DSP who is comfortable providing supervision and support with toileting, including ensuring proper hygiene following bowel movements.

SCHEDULE:

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

9:00am - 12:00pm

3 hours shift

9 hours a week

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Valid driver’s license with good driving record

Reliable personal vehicle (community-based support required)

Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Authorized to work legally in the United States
