Job summary

Royal Crown Homes LLC in Bloomington, MN is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Staff member for Arden Hills/New Brighton. You will provide 1:1 or 2:1 support in residents’ homes, assist with daily routines, and facilitate community activities in a person-centered home-like setting.

Qualifications include prior direct support experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass Minnesota DHS checks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check as required by Minnesota DHS.
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to obtain or current certification in CPR/First Aid.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnights.
• Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.

• Part Time position: 2PM-10 pm and every other weekend AM or PM.
• Provide direct care 1:1 or 2:1 to individuals in their own homes.
• Provide daily support to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities in Arden Hills and New Brighton area.
• Assist/remind individuals of personal hygiene, grooming, and daily self-care routines.
• Support individuals in community integration activities and outings.
• Implement ISPs and document progress accurately.
• Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all residents.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members.
