Job summary

Aurora Community Services is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate care in residential group homes for adults with cognitive and mental health disabilities. The role offers $17/hour with a $1.50/hr weekend shift differential, flexible hours, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Acceptable background and character verification.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for consumer transport.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills.

• Seek opportunities for community and social integration.
• Help consumers plan and prepare for enjoyable events and outings.
• Assist with self‑care tasks including dressing, bathing, showering, brushing teeth, toileting, and shaving.
• Administer medication as directed.
