Job summary

Aurora is seeking passionate and committed individuals to work in residential group homes supporting adults with cognitive and mental health disabilities. You will help people live fuller, happier lives and empower independence.

We offer flexible hours, paid training, and a supportive team. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, 401-K, and an Employee Stock Ownership plan. Wages start at $17 per hour with a $1.50 weekend differential; no experience is necessary for Caregivers.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass background character verification
• Basic English communication
• Basic reading and writing skills; basic internet navigation

Responsibilities

• Seek out opportunities for community/social integration
• Help consumers plan and prepare their choices of fun events and outings
• Assisting with self care including dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming
• Medication administration
• Meal preparation and planning
• Transportation of consumers
• Follow individual service plans
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
