Provide direct support for adults with behavioral needs — personal hygiene care, ADL assistance, meal prep, mobility, and daily living skills. Maintain a calm, steady demeanor throughout every interaction, including during challenging moments. Engage actively and meaningfully with the individuals you support during every shift. Monitor health and behavior, document observations accurately, and communicate updates to program staff at shift end. Foster a respectful, inclusive, person-centered environment that upholds dignity and individual preferences at all times. Attend 3 days of required training in North Haven, CT prior to beginning work. Follow program safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to all Arbor and program-specific standards throughout every shift.
