Job summary

Connections Services, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support residents in Bloomington, MN. The role offers entry-level opportunities with flexible full- and part-time shifts and a starting hourly wage of $17.00–$18.00.

DSPs provide care, skills coaching, meal support, and assist with activities while helping residents access programs and community resources. Training is provided, and benefits apply after the initial employment period.

We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area.

We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have various full and part time shifts available.

Starting Salary:

$17.00-$18.00 hourly

Benefits:

Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible.

What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do?

Duties

DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):

• Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
• Teaching and maintaining skills
• Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans
• Medication administration
• Participating in fun recreational activities with residents!

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid US driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts.

Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
