PRICY STAFFING & HOMECARE AGENCY LL is urgently seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) for positions in Worthington and nearby OH communities. You will provide personalized assistance to individuals with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities to promote independence.

The role requires strong communication, patience, and the ability to respond to emergencies. Compensation ranges from $17 to $22 per hour, with benefits varying by employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with people with disabilities (volunteer or paid).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Clear background check and driver’s license (if transporting clients).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities.
• Foster independence by teaching life-skills, social interaction, and community-navigation techniques.
• Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and health changes.
• Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and families to implement individualized support plans.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Respond to emergencies, providing first aid or crisis intervention as needed.
