PathPoint is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Life Skills Plus program in Simi Valley, CA. You will lead in-person, community-based, and virtual classes focused on art, music, cooking, volunteering, and more, teaching social and life skills for greater independence.

The role requires a compassionate, patient approach, with duties including supervising during instruction and building rapport as a positive role model. Flexible hours and a supportive team are offered.

Formación

• Patience and compassion when engaging with individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication with individuals, families, and team.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and manage schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Teach social and life skills to help independence.
• Teach vocational skills for entry-level employment.
• Supervise during classes and community activities.
• Build positive rapport and model professional work habits.
• Prepare weekly schedules, training projections, and progress reports.
