PathPoint is seeking a Per Diem Direct Support Professional for the Pathfinder day program in Northridge, CA. The DSP will teach skills and provide support within a behavioral program for adults with developmental disabilities, following ABA-informed plans.

The position runs Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm, with 7-35 hours per week and a compensation of $25.75 per hour. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life/AD&D, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA in psychology preferred.
• Prior experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Experience with ABA principles is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Encourage positive behavior and recognize use of new skills daily.
• Identify triggers and help individuals respond appropriately.
• Follow behavior support plans and provide feedback on effectiveness.
• Create a positive environment and maximize choices.
• Support with personal hygiene, feeding, lifting, toileting, and medicine records.
