Job summary

Grow Developmental Disability Solutions in Oregon is seeking a Direct Support Worker to assist children and adults with ID/DD in daily routines and community activities.

You will follow individualized care plans, promote independence, and communicate with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Smartphone required.
• Must pass state-required background checks and ODDS requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain).

Client 1 (Tangent):

• Male | 15 yrs | 97389
• Schedule: Looking for help after school on Fridays. Saturday and Sunday's from 11am-5pm
• Likes: He likes youtube videos, his family, playing make believe, hot baths and dogs.
• Needs: He needs help with emotional regulation, social boundaries, communication and building independence with daily tasks like hygiene, chores and personal needs.

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Pay & Benefits

• $24.00/hour
