Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals in our day program in Belle Mead, NJ. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support daily living skills, plan community activities, and transport participants to programs.

2nd shift positions available with starting pay around $20.42 per hour, with increases based on education and experience. We offer day-one time off, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, tuition assistance, growth and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Empathetic and have a team approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving daily living skills (e.g., cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for engagement.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
