Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role offers a 40-hour full-time schedule with a paid training program and a sign-on bonus for eligible staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, attending appointments, and helping individuals participate in community activities. Paid orientation, CPR/First Aid, and MAP training are provided to new employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ years old with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent English for communication.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults 22+ with daily living activities to promote independence.
• Support housing tasks, meal prep, shopping, and personal care.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities.
