You will help with daily living tasks, personal care, and community activities while upholding safety, respect, and empowerment. The role emphasizes health and welfare advocacy, confidentiality, and collaboration with staff, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in human services is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old; valid driver's license required unless exempt.
• Ability to perform basic math, read, write, and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Be a primary advocate for individuals served and ensure health, safety, and welfare.
• Respect personal rights and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Provide guidance using behavior management plans and positive reinforcement.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and household tasks.
• Support participation in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Monitor medical needs, administer medications as required, and document accordingly.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and reports of activities and health status.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and staff and escalate concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure coordinated care and compliance with policies.
