Job summary

Mozaic is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with disabilities in Penn Yan, NY. You will help residents achieve personal goals, build independence, and engage in community activities within a supportive residential setting.

Shifts include Evening (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and Overnight (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with full-time and relief opportunities. A NYS Driver's license is required and experience with developmental disabilities is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with developmental disabilities valued.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Experience as CNA/Health Aide/Caregiver/DSP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support people with disabilities to meet personal goals and live independently.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, personal care, and housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to appointments, events, and activities per individualized plans.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to deliver quality, person-centered support.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Range: $18.19 - $18.96 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials!

Available Shifts:

As a Direct Support Professional, no two days are the same. You'll support people with disabilities in achieving their personal goals, building independence, and living fulfilling lives in a residential setting. Each day may include assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and household responsibilities while encouraging community involvement, social connections, and meaningful experiences. You'll help people stay active and engaged by providing transportation to appointments, events, and activities, all while following individualized support plans that promote choice, dignity, and respect. Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other support team members, you'll play an important role in delivering quality, person-centered support. Most importantly, you'll be a trusted advocate, mentor, and source of encouragement, helping people gain confidence, develop new skills, and thrive both at home and in their communities.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Qualifications:

• Experience with developmental disabilities is valued


• High School Diploma/GED


• Valid NYS Driver's License


• Experience as a CNA, Health Aide, Caregiver, or DSP is a plus
