Mozaic is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Day Services in Fulton, NY. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence, learn new skills, and participate in the community.

As part of a compassionate team, you’ll provide hands-on guidance, help with daily living activities, and promote safety and well-being. This role offers paid training, career growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimally one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field is preferred.
• Valid New York Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement, guidance and hands-on support to people in Day Services.
• Help participants learn new skills, build confidence and participate in community activities.
• Promote health, safety and personal independence during daily living activities.

As a DSP in our Day Services program, you'll provide encouragement, guidance, and hands-on support while empowering people we support to make choices, explore their interests, and participate fully in their community. No two days are the same. You may help someone learn a new skill, build confidence in social settings, enjoy recreational activities, or achieve an important personal milestone.

You'll play an important role in creating a positive and supportive environment by assisting with daily living needs, promoting health and safety, and encouraging community involvement. Whether you're supporting personal care, helping someone reach a goal they've been working toward, or celebrating their successes, your work will have a lasting impact.

Pay Rate: $17.92-$18.67 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

37.5 hours per week; occasional evenings or weekends as needed

Location: Oswego County (Fulton, NY)

Direct Support Professional Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required
