Center for Disability Services, Inc. in the Capital Region seeks a Resident Counselor to support people in daily treatment, care, and services, promoting independence and respecting individual choices.

Openings exist at multiple locations with scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and per diem in a 24/7 environment. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• One year of related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assisting, promoting, and providing independence in the daily treatment, care, and services of the people we support; respect the person’s choices, lifestyle, and dignity to take informed risks.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services, outlined in their personalized care plan.
• Assist in acquisition of skills, including basic activities of daily living, self-care and household management for the people we support.

Rate of pay is commensurate on experience, Residential Program acuity, shift differentials and completion of additional trainings.

Compensation Range:

$18.50 - $24.14
