The Center for Disability Services in the Capital Region seeks a Resident Counselor to join our 24/7 programs. Openings are available at multiple locations, with pay commensurate on experience, program acuity, and trainings completed.

Positions offer flexible scheduling options including FT, PT and Per Diem/Relief, weekend-only shifts, and evening/overnight availability. Benefits include healthcare, retirement, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• One (1) year of related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a member of the person’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in daily treatment, care, and services of the people we support.
• Respect the person’s choices, lifestyle, and their dignity to take informed risks.
• Help implement personalized habilitation services outlined in their personalized care plan.
• Assist in acquisition of skills including activities of daily living, self-care and household management.
