Job summary

AccessCNY, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for residential settings in Onondaga County. The role supports participants with daily living activities, monitors health and safety, and helps increase self-advocacy and community connections.

The position offers both part-time and full-time schedules with an hourly pay range of $21.03–$24.06, depending on experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance and a 401(k) match upon hire, plus PTO and 11 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year experience with people with disabilities in certified residential setting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation to meet program needs.

Direct Support Professional, Residential - New and Increased Hourly Wage

Reports to: Individual Residential Alternative (IRA) Program Manager

Location: Onondaga County

Schedule: Part Time & Full Time Schedules Available

Pay: $21.03 - $24.06Hourly

Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive employee to assist participants with their personal needs and Activities of Daily Living (ADL); monitoring their health and safety; helping them to increase self-advocacy, decision making, and community connections.
