Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Boothwyn, PA, is seeking staff for the Residential Habilitative Program to provide support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community group home.

Shifts are PRN, with competitive pay and a full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, FSA options, and 403(b) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: None required.
• Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; not on Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Responsibilities

• Assist persons served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, in accordance with individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure safety of the person served, including medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed; complete records and reports per Agency policy.

Job Duties

• Assist persons served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent
