Job summary

Chimes in Boothwyn, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Residential Habilitative Program staff member to provide support, personal assistance, training and quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community group home.

Shifts include nights and weekends across Thursday–Sunday and Monday–Wednesday rotations. Education required is a high school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience is required. Benefits include comprehensive health plans and generous paid time off.

• Assist persons served in reaching their goals of becoming more independent.
• Act as a positive role model for persons served.
• Provide guidance, instruction, coaching, and support, in accordance with individual plans.
• Engage individuals in beneficial programs and activities.
• Transport and accompany individuals into the community for appointments and outings.
• Directly assist with personal care as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and routine homemaking duties.
• Ensure the safety of the person served including medical/medication needs.
• Apply approved behavior plans and intervention strategies as needed.
• Complete records and reports; collect data according to Agency policy.

Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.

Schedule Details:

Full-Time Shifts:

• Thursday - Friday and Sunday 12 am - 10 am
• Monday - Wednesday & Sunday 12 am -10 am
• Saturday - Sunday 8am - 12 am

Residential Habilitative Program

Pay Range:

$17.50/hour

Job Duties:
