Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Philadelphia to provide supervision and hands-on support to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Ideal candidates will assist with daily living activities and ensure safety and dignity while fostering community integration.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. DSPs will work in a trauma-informed environment with benefits including paid training and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in the residential mental health services field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support individuals per person-centered ISP.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals and hygiene.
• Complete required documentation.

Overview

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide supervision and hands-on support to individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and behavioral health needs in community-based residential settings. DSPs support daily living skills, community integration, and person-centered goals while ensuring safety and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support individuals per person-centered ISP
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, toileting)
• Administer medications (as trained)
• Provide transportation and support community integration
• Complete required documentation
• Collaborate with clinical and residential staff
• Perform other assigned duties

Schedule

SUNDAY TO THURSDAY 11PM-7AM

Qualifications

• Basic computer and internet literacy with the ability to utilize applications like emails, time recording and other programs to enter and retrieve data as necessary to perform the essential functions of the job
