Job summary

The NEEDS Center is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in our group homes across Clay County, Duval County, and Orange Park, FL. You will support daily routines, provide personal care, and help implement programs to promote independence.

Shifts are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with day, overnight, and double-shift options. A compassionate, team-based approach is essential and progress is recorded for each individual's plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Empathy and a willingness to help adults with developmental disabilities.
• Experience with behavior management preferred.
• Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting individuals in daily routines.
• Providing hands on personal care to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Implement clinical educational and vocational programs.
• Observe and record data for programs established in their Individual and Behavior support plans.
• Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.

Join The Needs Center and be part of a team making a positive impact in the lives of others Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities If so we want you on our team as a Direct Support Professional DSP The NEEDS Center is a company dedicated to providing support services to adults with developmental disabilities in our group residence homes helping them live as independently as possible We currently have openings for Part Time Direct Support Professionals DSP who will assist and support the adults in our care With compassion and a commitment to personalized care youll engage in activities that promote skill building and enhance overall quality of life

Hourly rate is 1500 1600 per hour

THESE ARE PART TIME POSITION ON FRIDAYS SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
