Job summary

The NEEDS Center in Rowley, MA is hiring 8 Direct Care Support Professionals to help adults with autism and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible. This full-time role includes a 7-day orientation, MAP training, CPR/First Aid, and ongoing program support.

Earn an hourly rate of $21–$22, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a generous retirement match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living skills, personal care and household tasks.
• Support individuals in making independent decisions and participating in valued community roles.
• Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning common areas and tidy personal spaces.
• Help to implement clinical, educational, and vocational programs.
• Observe and record data for programs in Individual and Behavior support plans.
• Participate with team members to create a therapeutic environment including community events support.
• Administer medications or support self-medication if MAP certified.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities with daily living skills personal care and household tasks

Qualifications

• REQUIRED Bachelors degree preferred but not necessary
• Valid Drivers License and good driving record
• Experience with behavior management preferred but not necessary
• Ability and willingness to provide hands on personal care to adults with developmental disabilities
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and remain alert during shifts
