Job summary

The Arc of Centre County in State College, PA is hiring Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist adults with IDD/A in homes. You’ll help with daily living, transportation, and activities, supporting independence and community involvement.

No experience required—training is paid. Earn $17/hour with shift differentials and a $600 sign-on bonus, plus overtime and opportunities for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license (agency vehicles provided for community outings).
• TB test and physical.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and assist with physical supports.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to adults with IDD/A in residential homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living including cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Drive individuals to work, appointments, community activities, stores, restaurants, and other destinations (agency vehicles are available).
• Assist with or administer medications.
• Build meaningful relationships while making a difference every day.
