Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Valid auto insurance and driver’s license required.
• Experience with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities or mental health conditions preferred.
• Willingness to travel to the North Side of Gainesville, near Wilshire Trails and City Parks.

Responsibilities

• Protect the rights of people with disabilities.
• Ensure a safe and clean home environment for those served.
• Develop rapport and be a positive role model.
• Teach daily living skills to increase independence.
• Document progress and goals for individuals served.
• Help participants engage in meaningful community activities.
• Work independently or with others to support growth.
• Participate in ongoing professional training.
• Other duties as assigned.
