The Charles Lea Center in Greenville, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in home settings, promoting independence and daily living.

The role includes personal care, documentation in Therap, and collaboration with staff. Compensation includes $18.03/hour plus weekend differential and a sign-on bonus, with paid training and benefits.

Competenze

• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years relevant experience preferred (DSP, CNA, PCA, RBT, Med Tech, Caregiver).
• Valid driver’s license and Social Security number.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to pass required background and reference checks.

About the Role:

As a DSP, you’ll work in a residential setting, in the client's home, supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assist with daily living skills, grooming, meals, personal care, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in activities, community outings, and skill-building.
• Promoting independence and dignity in every interaction
• Document daily notes, training steps, and updates in Therap.
• Communicate important information to supervisors and team members.
• Follow safety, infection control, and agency policies.
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and positive interactions.

What You’ll Need:

Work Location Flexibility: While this position is assigned to client homes living in our Greenville, NC locations, All Direct Support Professionals may be required to work at other Charles Lea Center sites as needed based on staffing and operational needs.
