Job summary

The Garden Foundation in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for part‑time and full‑time roles (20‑40 hours per week). Full‑time offers a $40,000 salary and hourly positions start at $18 per hour or more, with room for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years and older.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• CPR certification required at hire.
• MS Office (Word, Excel) proficiency required.
• CPI certification preferred.
• Experience in education or classroom assistance preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, daycare, mental health or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily lesson plans and activities with program staff.
• Send finalized weekly lesson plans to management.
• Maintain activity binders and documentation.
• Provide active engagement and daily living support.
• Use positive, encouraging communication with clients and staff.
• Assist in implementing daily activities and individual program plans.
• Ensure equipment and environment are clean, safe and functional.
• Complete daily checklists, logs and incident reports.
• Comply with regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate to promote independence and community integration.
