Job summary

Gallagher Services, a Catholic Charities program in Pasadena, MD, seeks an Overnight Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities. The role is on-site with a pay range of about $20–$20.50 per hour.

You will support daily routines, meals, and personal care, while promoting independence and dignity. Prior driving is required with a valid license; 21+ years old; lifting up to 75 lbs; Medication Tech training preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed.
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Support with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and personal care in a way that promotes dignity, independence, and choice.
• Support people in preparing meals of their choice, encouraging healthy eating habits, and maintaining a clean and comfortable kitchen environment—while promoting independence and personal preferences.
• Be patient and respectful in action and speaking.
• Advocate for each person’s rights and help build their confidence and sense of self.
• Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support.

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.

Work Schedule:

Week #1 - Monday- Thursday 11 PM - 9 AM

Week 2 - Sat 8 PM-10 AM Sunday 9 PM - 9 AM and Friday 8 PM - 10 AM
