Job summary

VISTA CARE in Prairie Du Chien, WI is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Overnight Asleep roles. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live safe, active, and independent lives in a comfortable home environment.

The schedule features active hours from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM at $15 per hour and sleep hours from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM at $9 per hour, with a DailyPay option to access pay when needed. Full-time or part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Caregiver background check required.
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Plan Implementation: carry out Individual Service Plans (ISP) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSP).
• Medication & Logging: safely administer medications and document daily progress in EHR.
• Engagement: encourage personal choice, community integration, and participation in recreational activities.
• Environment: maintain a clean, safe, and positive living environment for residents.

In this role, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live safe, active, and independent lives in a comfortable home environment. This position offers a unique overnight schedule that combines active support hours with designated sleep hours.

Schedule & Pay Structure

Non-Exempt / Hourly Position

Active Hours (6:00 PM – 12:00 AM): $15.00 / hour

Sleep Hours (12:00 AM – 6:00 AM): $9.00 / hour

Payment Feature: DailyPay option available (access your pay when you need it)

Key Responsibilities
