Out of the Box Solutions, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support for individuals with ID/DD in Oregon City. You will assist with daily routines, community involvement, and goal‑driven activities, delivering respectful, person-centered care.

The role emphasizes independence, reliability, and strong communication with clients, families, and the care team, with flexible scheduling and meaningful daily impact.

Qualifikationen

• 18+ years old and valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience.
• Must pass state background checks and ODDS eligibility.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).

Clients Needing Support:

Client 1:

• Male | 20yrs | 97229
• Schedule: Fri- Sun 5:00 pm-9:30 pm
• Likes: Loves being around people and enjoys community outings and getting out of the house. Thrives with routines and visual schedules
• Needs: Supporting client with personal care, meals, toileting, and hygiene. Encouraging independence during meals and daily living skills.

Client 2:

• Male | 18yrs | 97229
• Schedule: Mornings 5:30 am-8:30 am (possibility of after school hours for Tue- Thur if it works for both parties
• Likes: Computer games, his peers, and social activities
• Needs: Tell client ahead of time about any and all transitions, he likes to be informed what is going to happen next, must build trust with client, must be reliable and consistent

Client 3:

• Male | 18yrs | 97229
• Schedule: Tues, Weds, Thursday and Friday 2:30-9, Friday til 9:30, open to any 4-6 hours on weekends, and occasional longer shifts when out of town.
• Likes: Always energetic, always on the go, loves bowling, sports, parks, community outings
• Needs: Supporting the client during fun community outings, like bowling, parks, and recreational activities, helping the client build independence with daily living skills, including dressing, hygiene, household chores and meal routines

Client 4:

• Male | 16yrs | 97229
• Schedule: Mon & Wed 4:30pm-7:30pm
• Likes: Likes computer games, his peers, social activities, sporting events, movies, and the arcade
• Needs: Communicated ahead of time about any transition, allow him to process before moving forward. He likes to be informed about his day throughout the day. Words of affirmation and be encouraging.

Client 5:

• Male | 21yrs | 97229
• Schedule: Evenings
• Likes: Likes baking, listening to music, journaling, running, and exercise.
• Needs: He is most successful with a DSP that gives direct simple language. Has the patience to develop a strong and trusting relationship to encourage communication.

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)
