Out of the Box Solutions in Oregon City is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for individuals with ID/DD. You will help with daily routines, community engagement, and adherence to care plans in a respectful, person-centered approach.

The role emphasizes dependable attendance, clear communication with families, and documentation. A valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid certification are required, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifikationen

Client 1:

• Male | 13yrs | 97230
• Schedule: Mon- Fri 6:00 am- 9:00am
• Likes: His family dog, his toys, basketball, bikes, scooter, and doesnt like if people judge him
• Needs: Someone that will listen to him, letting him decide and helping to figure things out, help to understand things, allow him to have choices, must be physically active, and enjoy staying busy

Client 2:

• Male | 6yrs | 97233
• Schedule: Every other Sunday from 1:30pm- 6:00pm
• Likes: Loves to explore his surroundings and can be very curious
• Ensure you have your eyes on him at all times when out in public, help teach new boundaries, help support and perform general hygiene tasks

Client 3:

• Female | 23yrs old | 97007
• Schedule: Thur & Fri 3:00 pm-8:00 pm
• Likes: Songs, someone that will listen to her when she shares the things she likes and gets excited about
• Needs: Someone close to her age, helping with cuing for restroom and general ADL and IADL supports, must be comfortable with cleaning accidents related to bathroom, and guide her to bathroom and help her with shower if needed

Client 4:

• Female I 24yrs old | 97212
• Schedule: Mon - Thursday 4-6 or 5-7 (Family needs a minimum commitment of 2 evenings a week)
• Likes: Client loves her family, dancing, socializing, and her independence
• Needs: Support with social skills and socializing with peers. Positive encouragement and cues to use coping skills, especially when shut down. A provider with strong listening skills who includes her in conversations about her care and support needs. Support with hygiene, ADLs, community engagement.

Client 5:

• Male | 19yrs old | 97230
• Schedule: Weekdays mostly from 9am-5pm with the occasional Sunday
• Likes: Spending time with family, playing video games, and doing martial arts
• Needs: Someone who can give him some time to speak and process things. Be able to support his sensory needs.

Client 6:

• Female | 10yrs | 97230
• Schedule: Mon- Fri 6:00 am- 9:00am
• Likes: Playing video games like Minecraft, reading, stuffed animals, Sky Zone (trampoline park), and drawing.
• Needs: More independence and participation inADLs revolving around hygiene and cleaning up after themselves. Decrease in behavioral challenges and meltdowns. Increasing Zoe's ability to participate in preferred activities in her community. Help with improving self esteem and to make friends.
