Direct Support Professional (DSP)
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide support to clients in home, family, or community settings, helping them with daily living skills, goal‑focused activities, community inclusion, and behavior management. You will also help clients develop life skills such as money management and cooking, and celebrate their progress.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living skills.
- Facilitate goal‑focused activities and community inclusion.
- Provide professional intervention and behavior management.
- Support skill development (e.g., money management, cooking).
- Celebrate client milestones.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Ability to perform essential job duties.
- No prior experience required; must complete two full days of training and orientation before working directly with clients.
Travel Requirements
- Moderate travel required, including transporting clients.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, registration, clean driving record, and physical ability to drive locally and non‑locally in Arkansas.
