Supports is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Springdale, AR to provide compassionate and reliable hands-on support to individuals with disabilities. This role offers flexible shifts and the opportunity to empower individuals to live independently and engage with their communities.
The ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work weekends. Training and support are provided to assist with personal care, mobility, and structured interaction.

About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable DSPs to provide hands‑on support to an adult consumer in their home and community. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person‑centered care.
DSPs empower individuals to live in a home of their choice, access community resources, attend school or work, and participate in activities that are meaningful to them.
About the Individual you will Support:
This individual benefits from consistent, structured, and supportive care in daily living and community settings. Individual communicates using a combination of words, gestures, and facial expressions and responds best to calm, patient, and friendly communication.
Individual enjoys social interaction, attention, and engaging activities such as music, videos, water play, outdoor walks, and community outings. Individual also shows a strong interest in animals and sensory-based experiences.
Individual requires support with some daily living tasks, including aspects of personal hygiene and grooming, while demonstrating partial independence in other self‑care routines. Individual does best with routine, encouragement, and positive redirection.
Due to limited awareness of safety risks, individual requires close supervision and one‑to‑one support in the community. Individual thrives with consistent, engaging staff who can provide structure, patience, and supportive interaction tailored to individual interests.
