Job summary

KETCH in Wichita, KS is hiring a Non-CNA Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental disabilities. This full-time role includes evening, weekend, and daytime shifts with overtime where available.

You will provide assistance across personal care, transportation, training, and community activities in group home settings. We offer a strong training program, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or accredited GED.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and dependable transportation to and from work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of your total body weight, whichever is less.
• Work experience or knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports, teaching, transporting, caregiving, personal care and hygiene assistance, training, educating, mentoring, coaching, community outings, and shopping.
• The role involves mentoring and assisting adults with developmental disabilities in group home settings, ensuring safety and well-being.
