Job summary

Hope Network in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the 2nd shift (32 hours) and support clients in residential and rehabilitation programs. You will help individuals build daily living skills, promote independence, and participate in community activities with dignity and compassion.

You will provide personal care, medication support, documentation, and teamwork to ensure safety and well-being while fostering goals and community integration.

The Direct Support Professional is a valued member of the Hope Network team, providing compassionate, person-centered support and supervision to individuals receiving services in our residential and rehabilitation programs. DSPs help people develop daily living skills, achieve personal goals, maintain health and safety, and participate fully in their communities while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with people with disabilities, mental health needs, or caregiving experience

Required:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends
• Ability to pass required background checks
