ARISE CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICE INC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help a 19-year-old male communicate via iPad, gestures and some sign language in home and community settings. This 1:1, part-time per diem role offers flexible hours Mon–Fri and weekends after 2pm.

Starting pay is $19.25 per hour, with increases for relevant experience. Must be 18+, have a valid NY driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilités

Qualifications

• No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
• New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
