Job Details: Job Location: Syracuse - Syracuse , NY 13205, Position Type: Per Diem, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $17.50 - $19.25 Hourly, Job Category: Direct Support Professional, 1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed- Syracuse Ny area (NA –ST)

Ex-A 34-year-old Male in the Syracuse New York area who is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with, dressing appropriately for community outing- Providing verbal reminders while in the restroom to ensure proper personal hygiene before exiting- Supporting overall personal hygiene- Assisting with participation in activities and Supporting interaction with peers and socialization.

With his free time, He enjoys being active by playing basketball and working out. He also enjoys walking on the treadmill and in community parks, and he spends time reading books and magazines. Occasionally, he plays the Xbox Kinect and Wii Bowling.

The ideal candidate is patient, speaks clearly and at a measured pace, and demonstrates strong understanding of the material. They are willing to work with verbally aggressive individuals and consistently provide verbal encouragement.

The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed.

The ideal candidate must also be active and willing to go on walks and to the gym. Must be willing to travel to different locations.

The ideal candidate must be willing to learn about different movements and facial expressions as a form of communication.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services. at the agency.

Hours and days of work: Looking for 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday Friday after 3PM

Starting pay: Starting pay is $17.50/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.

Location: Syracuse NY.
