Job summary

New Horizons is seeking a Direct Support Professional for our MMDP program in Los Angeles. You will provide one-on-one support and assist individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve personal goals and participate in meaningful activities.

The role includes daily living assistance, personal care, and community integration. This part-time position runs Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm, with weekly hours 20–30 and a pay rate of $22.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with individuals with special needs or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

About the Role:

• As a Direct Support Professional in our MMDP program, you will provide one-on-one support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities

• You will assist with daily living tasks, personal care, medication administration, and community integration
• This is a part time position
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Bilingual English/Armenian a plus
• Weekly hours can range from 20-30 hours a week
• Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
• Rate: $22.50
