WINDSOR WOODS is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Catonsville, Maryland, to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and promoting independence in daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have previous DSP experience, a high school diploma, and valid CPR certification. Benefits include 401(k) matching, training & development opportunities, and a gas stipend.

Formación

Job Summary

We're seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to care for our wonderful individuals with developmental disabilities and enhance their quality of life.

Hours and Transportation Requirements

Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 9 AM – 4 PM. Please ensure you have a fully insured, reliable car. Gas stipend available.

Direct Support Professional must be able to work all of the hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Promote independence in daily activities, such as work, learning, and leisure
• Facilitate the individual's inclusion in the community’s experiences and activities
• Maintain knowledge of the individual's requirements
• Comply with the agency’s policies and procedures
• Maintain documentation in compliance with the agency’s procedures
• Perform additional duties upon request

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a DSP or similar role
• High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
• CPR and first aid certification
• Completion of the provided agency training
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance as specified by the MD
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand proactively and physically support the individual
