PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Mingo Junction, OH. You will supervise and support individuals with developmental disabilities, assist with daily living activities, provide safe transportation, and document care accurately.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

As a DSP, your day will be what you make it! You will work with our Individuals with developmental disabilities providing supervision and support, assisting with daily activities for living, providing safe transportation, and supplying accurate documentation of care and services provided. BUT you can accomplish these duties in a fun and satisfying manner by serving as a friend and mentor to our individuals, while planning, encouraging and carrying out fun and fruitful social and occupational activities!

Qualifications:

• Must successfully pass the DOT physical.
• High School diploma or GED
• Current Ohio Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Acceptable Criminal Background verification
• Willingness to provide fun yet responsible supervision and assistance to adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written skills
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals
• Maintains current and annual training requirements
