Job summary

Sevita’s Mentor Community Services in Missouri is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered care and support daily living activities. You’ll mentor and advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independently while building meaningful community connections.

As a DSP, you’ll assist with meals, medications, personal care, and transportation to activities, earning $18.65 per hour with a daily pay option.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED OR 5 years of documented caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered, insured vehicle
• Ability to pass background checks
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach to caregiving

Responsibilities

• Help individuals reach personal goals involving budgeting, nutrition, and community activities
• Act as a mentor, advocate, and friend to those you serve
• Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and community outings
• Help individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their hobbies and events
