Job summary

Sevita, through Mentor Community Services, seeks a Direct Support Professional to mentor and advocate for individuals with disabilities in community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, provide compassionate care, and help clients participate in community life.

Starting pay is $18.65 per hour with the option to access earnings on-demand. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO and holiday pay, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or documented 5 years of caregiving experience can be substituted for education.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• A reliable, responsible attitude.
• A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Be a Mentor: Help individuals reach personal goals like budgeting, nutrition, and fitness.
• Be a Companion: Support community inclusion by attending events, outings, and recreational activities.
