Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our in-home care team. You will provide personal care, medication management, mobility support, and compassionate companionship to help clients live safely at home.

The role requires a Med Cert 3, reliable transportation, and strong teamwork and communication to coordinate with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Active Med Cert 3 certification (required).

Responsibilities

Right at Home Cleveland West, a leading provider of in-home care and assistance, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Administer and manage client medications in accordance with Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans

• Support clients with mobility needs, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use when required

• Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision to ensure client safety

• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks

• Monitor and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or health status

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

• Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans

What We Are Looking For:

• Active Med Cert 3 certification (required)
