Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Burlington County, NJ. The role supports adolescents in a residential setting and requires weekend shifts. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with overtime and pay incentives available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or HS Diploma with 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must pass and maintain CHRI background checks and related trainings.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with adolescents in a residential setting.
• Mentor youth and encourage positive decision-making.
• Support community integration by accompanying youth to school activities, appointments, and outings.
• Teach essential life skills including cooking, laundry, cleaning, and personal responsibility.
• Use positive reinforcement and crisis de-escalation techniques to help adolescents succeed.
• Participate in recreational activities and be a positive role model.
