Job summary

RHDD is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings in southeastern Ohio. You may teach daily tasks, aid with daily living activities, transportation, and health-related support, while documenting care and reporting any health concerns to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License with minimal points.
• Reliable transportation with proof of state minimum auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community.
• Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and day-to-day finances.
• Support personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and positioning as needed.
• Provide transportation to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Document and monitor health-related tasks and report concerns to supervisor.
