Job summary

Buckeyes Service is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with developmental disabilities live with dignity and independence in Columbus. You will provide daily living support, assist with personal care, meal service, mobility, and community access while prioritizing safety and respect.

Join a team that values mentorship, teamwork, and ongoing training; you will complete in-service trainings, document observations, and collaborate with ISPs to support each person’s goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are preferred.
• Satisfactory completion of criminal background checks as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal hygiene, dining, and mobility.
• Provide direct support and training per ISP and activity schedules.
• Aid with transportation and accompany individuals on outings as needed.
• Record daily notes, observations, and reports per agency policy.
